Synopsis
A fictional miniseries based on the life of Brazilian racing legend Ayrton Senna da Silva, who won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship three times. It is based on the journalists who covered Ayrton Senna’s career. In addition, Scodelario’s family is Brazilian, and from Senna’s home state of São Paulo. He is also fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. Senna’s first cricket matches in England are shown on a track near a mountain range.
However, there is no greater honor than portraying a national icon and hero
England does not have mountains – especially Norfolk, which is known for its flat landscape.. Starting this review of the Senna series, I will start by talking about the cast, especially Gabriel Leon’s performance in the role. He is an up-and-coming actor, and this is undoubtedly the biggest role of his career. I think he will continue to make great films with top directors because he has immense talent. The other actors brought their characters to life with skill, and Galvao Bueno’s narration and Xuxa’s golden age transported us to a bygone era.
For our country
The production of the series is impeccable and honestly, Netflix made a great investment decision. All to ensure that the series was not only a national but also an international success. I thought I would watch this because it was sensational-surreal for a Brazilian series. The audio capture work, the creation of period-like cars and racing suits, and the excellent CGI work were all outstanding. I wasn’t born in Senna’s time, but I knew his importance.
They should not have been included
However, I didn’t fully understand the extent of his achievements or his story. I gained this understanding by watching the series. Senna’s touching story takes us from his childhood to his tragic accident. Senna is gone, but his legacy lives on and, thanks to this series, it will be etched in the minds of future generations. The only criticism that should be mentioned, which does not affect my final rating, concerns some of the vulgar scenes.
But overall it’s a 10/10
The show should have been watched openly with family and I think that was a mistake. Thanks to everyone involved!
